JANUARY 2015 MARKS A MILESTONE IN THE COMPANY HISTORY OF JUWI'S ASIA-PACIFIC DIVISION. HEADQUARTERED IN ASIA'S FINANCIAL CENTER SINGAPORE, THE SUBSIDIARY JUWI RENEWABLE ENERGIES PTE. LTD, TODAY CELEBRATES EXCEEDING THE 300 MEGAWATT BENCHMARK. SINCE 2010 JUWI HAS BEEN ACTIVE IN THE RENEWABLE ENERGY MARKETS ACROSS ASIA-PACIFIC, AND HAS SUCCESSFULLY REALIZED NUMEROUS UTILITY-SCALE SOLAR PROJECTS ESTABLISHING JUWI AS A LEADING PLAYER AND RELIABLE PARTNER FOR GREEN ENERGY PROJECTS.

Commenting on the achievement, Stephan Hansen, juwi's Chief Operating Officer (COO), says: "The success story of juwi Asia-Pacific indicates that our decision to participate in the renewable energy markets of the region was the right one. Asia has become a global powerhouse for renewable energies and we are very well positioned to continue our successful growth in these markets." juwi Asia Pacific follows the global strategy to develop and finance projects, as well as offers EPC and O&M services to project developers, investors, and IPP's.

In 2010 juwi established a subsidiary in Bangalore, India. In 2011 the Regional Headquarter in Singapore had been established. Besides India, the first markets for juwi in the region were Japan, Thailand and Malaysia. Due to the success in Asia and a growing demand for renewable energy juwi expanded its footprint to the Philippines, and Australia. Amiram Roth-Deblon, Regional Director Asia Pacific, adds: "Asia Pacific is the major global region for Renewable Energy and many markets have strong growth potential: juwi will realize more than 20 projects in Japan and we right now construct a 51 MW plant in India. Thailand has just announced an increase of its solar program, our first plant is in advanced construction stages in the Philippines and we will see several projects completed in 2015. Indonesia and several other countries such as Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, have not even started exploring their great solar and wind potential. We gladly assist local and international developers and investors and support sustainable economic growth, create jobs and increase energy independence and security."

Besides EPC services and project development for utilities, IPPs, local and international private equity, as well infrastructure funds, juwi offers large commercial projects and utility-scale Off-Grid Solutions for energy intensive remote corporations in the mining, agricultural or tourism industry, comments Raghuram Natarajan, Director Commercial Management Asia Pacific: "We are also well positioned to serve these clients." In 2013 juwi has acquired a majority stake in Brisbane based Qi Power Limited - a company with years of experience in the Australian mining and power industry.
